Three Japanese Akoya pearls sit in a neat row along the lobe, and beneath them a single round sapphire hangs free on a small gold loop, catching the light with every turn of the head. Polished 18K yellow gold warms the soft white of the pearls and deepens the blue.
0.26 carat of natural sapphire in Royal Blue, eye-clean, held in four slim claws below 3–3.5 mm Akoya pearls with thick nacre and a soft, misty lustre — easy enough for every day, refined enough for the evening, and a thoughtful gift for a September or June birthday.
