The drop of fancy vivid blue rests at the very point of the V, held by two rounded prongs and a slim V-tip, while round accent diamonds are pavé-set along both arms to lead the light towards it.

Care

A lab-grown diamond is as hard as a mined one, but the pear's fine point and the small pavé stones along the band deserve a gentle touch. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft brush, then rinse and dry thoroughly; avoid ultrasonic cleaners at home to keep the pavé secure. Platinum develops a soft satin patina over time, which a jeweller can re-polish. Take it off for sport, swimming or heavy work, store it on its own in a soft pouch, and have the prongs and pavé checked once a year.
